Virginia Fern “Jenny” Miller, 86 of Greenfield died Friday, July 26, 2013 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
She was born March 5, 1927 in Portsmouth, the daughter of Ancel Curtis and Olive Virginia (Coriell) Lamm.
She was a former employee of the American Pad and Textile Company and a homemaker. She attended the Gathering Place in Washington C.H. and the First Baptist Church of Greenfield. She was a 1945 graduate of Chillicothe High School and a member of VFW Post 4736 and F.O.E. #1325 Auxiliary.
She is survived by two daughters, Carole (Richard) Martin of Greenfield, and Connie Miller of Greenfield; one son, Dustin (Dawn Greene) Miller of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Betty Jean Hays of Oldsmar, FL, and Wanda Endlich of Chillicothe; one brother Lanny Lamm of Beavercreek; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dean Miller on December 1, 2006, one brother, Thomas Lamm, and both parents.
Funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, with Rev. Richie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Monday, at the funeral home.
